Who I Am

I'm Kurt Gibson. I have played Ultimate Frisbee at the highest level for 20+ years. I’m a 9x World & National Champion. I was elected into the Ultimate Hall of Fame in 2025.

I’ve taught camps across the world. From Russia, Colombia, and the Philippines. I’ve coached college Ultimate teams. I love watching people grow and sharing what I’ve learned over the course of my career.

What's Available

Film Review — $99

Send me film. I send back a recorded breakdown walking through your decisions, your positioning, and your mechanics — what worked, what didn't, and what to do instead. You keep the video and can rewatch it as many times as you need.

Best for: players who want a clear, honest read on where they actually are.

Turnaround: 7 days once film and payment are received. Please send your film with specifics on what you are looking for and details on who you are, jersey #, and any other identifiers for you if necessary.

1:1 Session — $150, 60 minutes

Live video call. We work through whatever's most pressing — decision-making, throwing mechanics, defensive positioning, reading the field, how to prepare for a specific opponent or tryout. Bring questions, bring film, bring a problem.

Best for: players who learn by talking it through and want to go back and forth in real time.

6-Week Program — $750

Six weeks of structured work: an initial film assessment, a focused development plan, four live sessions, and film review throughout. We pick one or two things that will move the needle most and we build them properly. This is where most players see the change they came for.

Best for: players with a real goal and a real timeline — a tryout, a season, a jump in division.

Season Pass — $1,250, 10 sessions

Ten one-on-one sessions to use across your season, at $125 each instead of $150. Use them how you need them — some weeks that's 90 minutes before a tryout, some weeks it's a 30-minute check-in after a tournament. Film review between sessions as needed.

Best for: players who already know they want ongoing work and would rather not think about booking one session at a time.

Full Season Partnership — $4,500

For the player chasing something specific and willing to build their season around it. Unlimited film review, weekly sessions, opponent and tryout scouting, and direct access to me between sessions for the questions that come up mid-week.

This is the deepest version of what I do, and I take on very few of these at a time.

Best for: players with a defined goal — a club tryout, a starting role, a level jump — and the commitment to chase it properly.

Common Questions

I'm not in the US. Does that work?
Yes. Everything is remote, and I work with players in a range of time zones. The booking page shows my availability converted to your local time automatically — just pick what works for you.

What film do I need?
Game film is best, even rough sideline footage. Phone video is fine. It doesn't need to be a highlight reel — honestly, the ordinary points teach me more than the good ones. Upload it anywhere I can watch it (YouTube unlisted, Google Drive, Dropbox) and send the link.

What if I don't have film?
Book the 1:1 session instead, or the intro call. There's plenty to work on without tape, and I can tell you how to get usable footage for next time.

Do I need to be on a team?
No. Some of the players I work with are between teams or just play pickup.

What level do you work with?
Whether you’re brand new, club-curious, or elite I help you reach your goals.
